Unlike cloud-based services, we have built Local Legacy Vault so your vault data stays on your device. After a one-time internet connection to activate your license, the app operates offline. This means:

• We cannot see your data
• We cannot access your data
• We do not store your data on any server
• We do not transmit your data anywhere

What Information We Collect

From the Application: None. The Local Legacy Vault application stores all data on your local device. All data you enter—documents, instructions, account information, personal notes—stays encrypted on your computer and is not transmitted to us or any third party. The app does not send or receive vault data.

From Our Website: When you visit our website or make a purchase, we may collect:

• Email address (for license delivery and support)
• Name (for purchase records)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store credit card details)
• Basic analytics (page visits, browser type) to improve our website

• Argon2id key derivation: Your vault password is never stored; only a secure hash is used
• Local-only storage: Your data exists only on your device, protected by your operating system's security
• Vault data never transmitted: The application does not send or receive vault data. Network access is used only for activation, license verification, license lookup, and account recovery.

Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services:

• Stripe: For secure payment processing
• Google Fonts: For website typography
• Basic analytics: To understand website usage patterns

The Local Legacy Vault application itself uses no third-party services for vault data. The app does not send or receive vault data. Network access is used only for activation, license verification, license lookup, account recovery, and customer emails where applicable. A one-time internet connection is required to activate your license. After activation, the vault works offline.
